Pastor Antonio Russo
Pastor Antonio Russo was born in Soccavo, in the city of Naples, on February 18, 1966.
During his adolescence he falls into the addiction of drugs that paves the way for him to take wrong paths, with unpleasant consequences such as the experience of prison.
However, the drug addiction is only the tip of the iceberg, behind which there are deep inner needs hitherto never identified and addressed.
However, at the age of 18, he heard about Jesus, presented as the One who can save him and free him from the addiction of drugs.
After hearing this message of hope, go home and ask God for proof of His existence.
The Lord does not delay and manifests His presence to him, instantly freeing him from the snare of drugs.
About fifteen days after that glorious experience, God reveals to him through the Bible his ministerial call and the need for preparation for its fulfillment.
He leaves as a missionary with the “Christ is the answer” tent and for three and a half years the Lord shapes his character, which, like that of a typical rebellious street boy, becomes humble and teachable.
At the end of this experience, his training continues with the help of the Apostolic Ministry of Lirio Porrello, which greatly contributes to his growth.
In April 1994, Pastor Antonio together with his wife Pina founded a Christian community in Naples, which took the name of "Word of Grace", inspired by the mother church located in the city of Palermo.
This reality today is constantly expanding and embraces different areas and neighborhoods of the city. The preaching centers on the doctrine of the Word of God, and is shared with frankness and boldness.
The Community is living a new time with the manifestation of the supernatural and the power of God, with signs, miracles and wonders.
Pastors Antonio and Pina Russo are an example in their faith and work in the territory that God has entrusted to them with commitment and dedication, offering help, listening, and answers to those who are disposed with all their hearts towards God, and are hungry for truth. and life.
